Kindred Spirits Screening at Busboys and Poets
Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7:00 pm EDTHumanitiesDC will present a screening and discussion of Kindred Spirits as part of its Culture Series program. The post-film discussion, moderated by producer Cintia Cabib, will feature 96-year-old artist Lilian Thomas Burwell, Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum Senior Curator Samir Meghelli, and mixed-media artist and co-founder of Black Artists of DC, Claudia “Aziza” Gibson-Hunter.
